Dear <<First Name>>

The month of February is just about bursting with so much going on in the health and wellbeing world. In the US, Go Red For Women kick started the month on the 3rd of February with their National Wear Red Day, a great initiative where all donations help fund heart research and educational programmes.

Here in Australia, the 3rd of February marked the first game of the AFL Women’s League. It is such an exciting time to have women’s sport recognised on a higher level and given that the Australian women’s national soccer team, the Matildas, were in the quarterfinals in the 2016 Olympics, they certainly are a team to be watched and supported! Increasing the profile of women in sport will hopefully lead to a lot more women participating in the sports they enjoy, and of course this will ultimately help to reduce women’s heart disease.

Speaking of women in sport, the Miss Muddy fun run is just over one month away! We have had some workplaces create their own teams, as it’s a great opportunity to get a group of friends together for a day of colour, foam, inflatables, music, obstacles and plenty of mud! So make sure you register your entry on the website below.

Finally, we have decided to have our National Her Heart Day on Valentines Day. We want everyone to think about how they can look after their heart and the hearts of the people they care about, and make a donation to our health charity to fight heart disease. So go on, spread the word about Her Heart and squeeze in as many hugs as you can on the 14th of February to do your heart some good (...as you’ll read in our news article), as well as cherish the special people in your life. So please...

Doppel

Doppel works by creating a rhythmic pulse on your wrist, which your body incorporates into its own rhythm. A faster pulse makes us feel more alert and a slower one calms us down.  So if you are feeling anxious or stressed, check out the website to see if this revolutionary science can help you control your heart rate.
