We have had an amazing start to the year. On January 3 we welcomed into the world our first child, Louella Wren. She was over a week late but right on time to be Comox's New Year baby (you might have seen her in the Echo and Record!). We are finally moving into the home that we spent 2016 building. Through that experience we have learned invaluable lessons in construction and project management. The best part is that our marriage survived it!

While January is a typically quiet month in the world of real estate, it was anything but in the Comox Valley market. After a year of low inventory and high demand, home owners seemed to have taken notice and more listings are hitting MLS (and being snapped up fast). In the 7 days after Louella was born, Jakob took 6 new listings and wrote 2 purchase contracts. Things have not showed signs of slowing since.  Jasmen has "hung up" her license for maternity time. After 12 years in this business, though, she hasn't been able to keep out of it entirely. She has been working away on the marketing and social media in the background while Jakob has been handling everything that requires a Real Estate license - and his sales skills. Joyanne has settled in beautifully at the office and has provided top notch support to us and great service to our clients.
