The Joy of the Season:
Adopt-a-Family 2016

Thank you for blessing 162 families and 468 children in the Dublin City School District that needed a little help bringing holiday cheer into their homes...families facing a health or financial crisis, families finding a new way in a strange land, and families working to get their lives back on track after addiction or divorce. So many people give their time and resources to make Adopt-a-Family happen: Dublin City Schools' Guidance staff, our family sponsors and many, many volunteers. Our volunteer Director Shelley Walter and Match Coordinator Sally Robinson put countless hours into making sure everything runs smoothly. We are so grateful for your support that allows us to share holiday joy with struggling families in our community!

Thank you for helping us show God's love in a very tangible way to local families facing difficult times. Our goal is to connect families with resources they need to thrive while offering friendship, compassion and spiritual support. Your generosity makes it all possible.

13,708 clothing, household & personal care items distributed
468 children received holiday gifts
422 children received new school supplies & backpacks
56 children received a new bed
40 families received Emergency Household Assistance during a financial crisis
2,000+ hours of volunteer service donated

Thoughts from Julie Fletcher

I am always so grateful for the generosity of those who volunteer their time and resources to a charity in their own backyard. We live in a very blessed community and sometimes it's easy to overlook the need. The only way we can do what we do is with all of you. We literally cannot serve our families without financial support. I hope you can join us on Feb. 15th at LaScala to Celebrate Community. "Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely"...Psalm 112:5. Many blessings in 2017!

Join us for Celebrate Community, Cabaret Style at La Scala Restaurant on Wednesday, February 15. This unique and fun event will feature performances from Dublin's best talent, as well as great food, testimonies, and friendship to benefit Welcome Warehouse and our mission to bring help and hope to those of us who are temporarily in need.

Cardinal Health Foundation: $3,500
The CareSource Foundation: $3,000 for the Emergency Household Assistance Program
