The Mindful Way

Pancake Breakfast


What better way to end 2016 than to hold a pancake breakfast with parents and their kids from our Family Drop-In program. Many thanks to Nesters Market and to Joanne Swanson for the donations; to Jane, Anna, Mehak and Maria of our Family Resource Program for organizing and making this happen; and to Joel Bronstein, our Executive Director, for being our Santa during this event!

Community Kitchen for Syrian Refugees
+ 123 JUMP! for kids



Community kitchen for Syrians is our newest program where small groups of Middle Eastern Newcomers come together to prepare meals and eat together in a warm atmosphere.  All members contribute by planning, preparing and cooking food.

During the Community Kitchen program, the children will enjoy learning about physical literacy with the help of a certified 1-2-3 JUMP program leader.

Canadian Systems & Culture


This program will explore varied issues that affect new Syrian & Arab immigrant families, and which will help them successfully resettle in Canada.

Heart, Health, 'Hood



 

2017 is your year to feel better, think better, eat better, and live better with the community. Make your new year resolution to attend our healthy living program.  Our 6-week program starts this Feb 1, every Wed 4-5:45pm. Contact Rene Gaviola 604.879.7104 to register for free.

To be Confirmed in the Riley Park Field house (aka the pottery studio). The Riley Park Garden Committee, supported by Little Mountain Neighbourhood House, has the license for the north east entrance to the Field house.
