Announcing our Scholarship Winner
We would like to congratulate our 2016 scholarship winner, Rebecca Vilcheck. Rebecca is attending The Ohio State University as an Aerospace Engineer major. She was awarded $500 towards her schooling and plans to use it for her upcoming Spring semester. We had outstanding applicants this year and Olive Garden has graciously agreed to sponsor a dinner for all these students. We look forward to meeting them and encouraging the future aviators of the area.
Annual Meeting and Officer Elections
We will be holing our annual meeting on Wednesday January 25th, which will begin at 7:00pm at the Medina Airport, 2050 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. We will be discussing chapter business and also hold officer elections. We are seeking candidates to fulfill chapter officer positions. Please consider volunteering for a year to help out our chapter by running for any of the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Outreach Chair, or Membership Chair. February 10, 2017 - Dinner with a Slice of History at the International Women's Air and Space Museum. Come experience the life of Bessie Coleman, the first African-American woman to obtain a pilot's license, as told by her great-niece, Gigi Coleman, in honor of Black History Month. Gigi's
reenactment will challenge the minds of the young and old and encourage individuals to achieve their dreams. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation to follow. Seats are limited, please RSVP by February 8. Members $15 and non-members $17. Order tickets
