Influenza Mask-On Requirement
As of Dec. 29, the New York State Department of Health has declared that influenza is prevalent in New York State. All Columbia employees who enter or work in NYP space and most FPO practice sites and who have not been vaccinated against the influenza virus must wear a surgical mask.
Workforce Health and Safety will administer the flu vaccine weekdays in Harkness Pavilion, Room 112, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in the Milstein lobby from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mailman alumnus Perri Peltz, whose HBO documentary premiered in NYC last month, led a discussion with students and faculty about how public health science can reach new audiences through the powerful medium of film. Her documentary, “Risky Drinking,” takes an incisive look at four people struggling with various stops on the spectrum of alcohol use disorders.
