NEW YEAR,
NEW YOU RUN

Moving back up the hill for the first run of the year, DING-A-LING's New Year resolution was to whip us all into shape, lets hope the momentum keeps going!

A keen KLINGON turned up mega early to get the scoop for the new/old house, and was highly impressed by the work EM-DEF's crew had done on the place (does this plug get us a discount????).

EM-DEF set a trend by cumming through the tradesman's entrance, closely followed by D'ZERT, OXY and LINC, while NAVI, NICE BUT, and DOGS chose to go up the brand new driveway.

Fortified by the nibbles, the runners set off down the hill, while the walkers started meandering up the hill. A while later, the first of the walkers arrived at the first OP, at Cattle Stop Crag and enjoyed a stunning view over Christchurch City. There was no hurry to move on, so we played spot LINC's house, where's the old people's home, and reminisced about the times DING-A-LING and STD made us go rock climbing and abseiling.

In preparation for the next stage, DING-A-LING whip out his cammo bag and told everyone to put in a drink or 2 for the next OP, and was promptly ignored by most.
On up the hill once again, everyone took the long way round to the 2nd OP at the gun emplacements, except for SAUCE, who DING-A-LING didn't want to get crushed in the rockfalls, so came in the car with us instead to help lug the booze up the track, and hide from the rest of the hashers.

By this time everyone was a bit knackered from all the hill work, so it was back down the hill on home for fines, food and house inspection.- Carpet works well!, must be Scotch Guarded or something!
