HARMONIOUS NEW YEAR!!

HARMONIOUS NEW YEAR to YOU! Yes, I know the normal phrase is HAPPY New Year or maybe PROSPEROUS New Year…but it just doesn’t feel quite right for me this year and its given me reason to reflect. Some of my family and friends are facing really challenging times right now, and I am sure many of you could relate to that. Plus personally I am taking the opportunity that this New Year brings to consider my personal development…what beliefs serve me and what beliefs are limiting me and need to change.

Often it’s the challenges that deliver growth opportunities in our life. These challenges are not something that is usually described as “Happy”, more like gifts in ugly wrapping paper!! But I believe they are purposeful, there is a gift in there somewhere! On the surface ‘Happy New Year’ is a lovely wish that we bestow on family, friends ….and strangers and, regardless of what I think, I am sure it will live on and live strong! But for me its all about HARMONY.

UTI.... Part 2

So in my last newsletter I shared a personal experience! I excitedly told you that I was able to use doTERRA Essential Oils in a capsule to heal a UTI. There is a second part to that story that I would like to add...the symptoms returned after a day of being clear and despite the fact that I continued to take the On Guard, Oregano and Lemon in a capsule several times a day.

My family was saying 'look oils are great but I think you need to get some antibiotics'. It was in the few days before Christmas and the last thing I wanted was a problem over the public holidays. I even booked an appointment with a GP ( I can't say my GP because I so rarely go to a Doctor) but in my mind said to myself 'I can always cancel the appointment in the morning'

I also spoke to my wise friend Sue and asked if there was anything else I could try with the Oils. Without hesitation she said try ON GUARD PLUS. I didn't have any :(

But by looking up the different oils in ON GUARD PLUS from regular ON GUARD I was able to add Black Pepper and Melissa to the capsule I was already taking.

Within a few hours my symptoms were gone...the next morning I was able to cancel the appointment... I continued the capsules for a few days and have been 100% healthy since.

So the moral to the story for me was to always ask someone else in the doTERRA Essential Oil Community for their ideas and also to realise that with natural options there may be some time taken to find the right solution. I know that with a UTI time is not on your side!! But fortunately I was still able to heal this situation without antibiotics and for that I am VERY grateful!

I am also doing a fabulous job of drinking LOTs of WATER these days!!
