Just when you thought you had heard the last from me...
The Trustees have asked that I let you know they plan to close the library on Saturday, January 14 to conduct interviews for the Director position. They apologize for the inconvenience. They have declined my assistance in the interview process and have chosen instead to include key staff members, hence the need to close the library for the day.
I wish them all the best in their selection process. I have endeavored to arrange programming and staffing to allow services to flow without much more than a hiccup until you have a new leader for your beautiful library. FYI, Winter Reading is all arranged to begin January 30 - March 10, so please reward my efforts to keep this program going, even without a director in place, by your participation!
