Volunteers needed to support LEGO/Robotics Club at IPS School 55 near Broad Ripple
An afterschool program is recruiting volunteers for IPS School 55, located on 54th Street just south of Broad Ripple. They need volunteers to expand afterschool STEM programs.
One of their current volunteers, Kira, has been facilitating a LEGO/Robotics club for their students for the past couple of years. She is excited about the possibility of getting more volunteer support to help run her club - and expand it to include more students. She had specifically asked about volunteers who might have some expertise in drive trains.
The club meets once a week serving 3rd – 6th graders. She will take anyone who is interested, even if they couldn't make it every single week. - Questions? Contact Maggie Cline, Program Director, TechPoint Foundation for Youth (Maggie@TechPointYouth.org)
