Charity

Make Change Count
A group of Brighton and Hove charities are working together to raise awareness of people living rough on the streets this winter. Charities include Brighton Housing Trust, St Mungo's, Pavilions, Equinox and Nightstop. Read More

One of the aims of Make Change Count, is an alternative giving campaign where instead of giving money direct to the rough sleeper, the money raised will go towards getting them professional help

Rockinghorse - 50 Miles for 50 Years
As you may know Brighton based charity Rockinghorse is celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 2017 and they have an interesting fundraising event to celebrate.
Walk, run, cycle, or walk the dog or be as creative as you like, as long as you achieve 50 miles across 365 days and raise at least £100 in sponsorship.

Check out the petition to Parliament to encourage 100% recyclable packaging on every product in the UK. At the moment over 55,000 people have signed up. At 100,00 signatures the petition will be considered for debate in Parliament.
