If you haven’t done so, we encourage you to do so and become a part of God’s work in 2017. If you want to support Mt. Pisgah’s ministries (children, youth, missions, education, etc.) and facilities to support these and other activities, please submit your pledge online. You can also fill out a pledge card that can be found in the Gathering Room outside of the church office. Thank you!

Volunteers Needed for Prison Ministry
For decades Mt. Pisgah has sent mission teams to the Beaumont Juvenile Corrections Center in Goochland for worship services and Bible studies.  In order to continue this ministry, at least one more regular volunteer is needed.  Perhaps you have made a New Year's resolution to become more involved in Evangelism or you wish to move outside of your normal comfort zone.  "Prison" may sound frightening, but there are always two Beaumont security officers with our missions team. For more information please contact Stan Naimon at dwnaimon@juno.com or 804-464-2409.
Ushers
Ushers are needed for 8:15 service. In addition, we also need some individuals to take on the role of "Captain" for the 3rd, and 4th Sundays.
If you are willing to help or have questions, please contact Charlie Simmons at 869-8755 or csimmons1000@comcast.net.
Upward Basketball Halftime Devotions
Volunteers are needed to present a 5 minute halftime devotion during our season which will continue until Saturday, March 4.  Volunteers will be responsible for five devotions on your Saturday from 9:25am until 1:30pm.
This is a great way to participate in part of our Purpose Statement...  Invite others.  Sign up early and you can pick your Saturday!!

If you are willing to help or have questions, please contact Charlie Simmons at 869-8755 or csimmons1000@comcast.net
Communion Servers
If you are interested in serving communion on a rotating basis throughout the year, please contact Carol Harris. Servers are needed at 8:15 am and 11 am services. Please contact Carol Harris at carol23113@verizon.net if you able to serve.
Upward Basketball
"The 2017 season of Upward Basketball is underway.  There are many opportunities to support this ministry.  Click her for prayer items for the remainder of the season.  Please consider including this outreach ministry in your thoughts and prayers."
Everything But The Kitchen Sink
During the month of January, we will be collecting gently used pots, pans, and dishes for CARITAS. These items are necessary for families transitioning from shelters to permanent housing. A collection bin is located in the Gathering Room.
Tellers Needed
One volunteer is needed to work as a teller for the first Sunday of each month and another is needed for the third Sunday of each month. Some experience with EXCEL spreadsheets is needed for this job, which involves gathering the offering for each service, collating the checks and cash, entering data into the computer, and making a deposit at the bank. Training provided. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Brian Wakeman at 379-4134.
Fund Raising Opportunity!
The Midlothian Ruritan Club meets in the Family Life Center on the 4th Thursday of each month (except for November, 3rd Thursday).  The Club needs Church related groups that will set up; prepare meals; and clean kitchen for January, April, May, August, September and November.  The Club pays $260 for 30 meals and $7 for each meal over 30.  Contact Mike Colley, 467-1498, for information.
