Clarion Chamber Goals for 2017:
Our focus for 2017 can be outlined in three words...

       Diversity                  Visibility               Profitability

  • Diversity – To reach a broader audience of people by identifying gaps in events/programs for certain age groups or demographics and filling those gaps.
  • Visibility – To continue to increase our visibility overall but especially online via our website and social media platforms.
  • Profitability—To increase money flow in order to use those dollars to better serve Clarion and our members through even more events and programs.

Ewing Funeral Home & Monument Company is expanding! Michael and Brianne Ewing announced the purchase of the Dugger Funeral Homes in Belmond and Dows, which gives them five total locations in communities, including Clarion, Kanawha, and Britt. Visit ewingfh.com for contact information for each of their locations and for all your pre-planning, monument, and funeral needs.
Note to Clarion Businesses: This Saturday, January 21st, there will be 18 youth basketball teams and families in Clarion for a Youth Basketball Tournament beginning around 9:00am. Consider this as you staff your businesses and restaurants that day! Let's make Clarion look great!

Bradford Tax & Accounting Network
in Clarion wishes to announce the purchase of Carol’s Tax & Accounting in Garner, one of Hancock County’s largest tax practices. The newly acquired office will remain open at the same location at 635 West 3rd Street and maintain the same phone number, 641-923-2262.

Bradford has hired Dorothy Blakesley for the Garner office. She has been a legal secretary, tax preparer, bookkeeper, and office manager for the Riehm & Hovda Law Office since 1979.  A team of specialists will be made available as client needs demand. Bradford will be upgrading the location and adding an improved tax system.
