DSRIP WHITEBOARD VIDEOS
New York State Medicaid Director Jason Helgerson has released two new "Whiteboard" videos. All ACP employees should view and pay careful attention to Mr. Helgerson's messages about the year ahead and Value-Based Payments. DSRIP's announcement is below, along with links to the videos.

"We are excited to announce two new installments in our NYS Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program whiteboard video series. In the first video, titled, “DSRIP: Looking Ahead to 2017,” NYS Medicaid Director, Jason Helgerson, talks about what is ahead for the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program in 2017, including the importance of the mid-point assessment. He also describes how Value-Based Payment (VBP) will fit into and align with DSRIP and how it affects Medicaid in general in 2017.

"In the second whiteboard video, titled, “Myths and Facts of Value-Based Payment,” Jason Helgerson also discusses common myths and facts about the Value-Based Payment (VBP) initiative. He debunks common misunderstandings about the program and promotes the facts of what VBP actually means to those who are and will be participating in it."
