Greetings!
Another year ended and another year has begun. 2016 was a very exciting year full of new experiences and artistic growth. Partnering in, and opening the gallery CREATE – art, craft, design was the center of my focus. Create has been very well received and we anticipate continued success in 2017.
The gallery and shows led to many commissions for wall art, which I find inspiring. Also in 2016, clients/friends approached me about a sculpture for outside on their contemporary deck, which had some height restrictions for the size. This stainless steel sculpture may truly be the best piece I have ever created. I also explored other outdoor sculpture.
All of this has inspired me to make my 2017 focus sculpture work. I have had ideas for large sculptures brewing for a while and have decided to forgo spring shows in order to have the time to play with, and explore my designs.
