Quiz Night - Coming Soon - Saturday 25th February
It may seem like ages away, but the long awaited next quiz night will soon be here. Last time it was a super sell-out, so don't delay in booking to avoid disappointment.
Some people don't visit the club much in the winter, so this is a perfect opportunity to get in touch with your summer sailing friends and make up a team. Alternatively bring in your friends from outside the club to have a great evening, or if you like, just book individually and we will put you in one of the brainy teams.
With posh plougmans supper and full quiz night everyone is guaranteed to have fun.
To book contact Jenny Snow on snowmail@btinternet.com, or on 07752 333486, but do it soon.

Many thanks to all the people who have renewed their membership following the email invoicing in December. The new system has made paying, and recording, a lot simpler and easier. If you haven't had an invoice do get in touch with Judith via membership@papercourt-sc.org.uk.
Also apologies are due to some on the "unpaid" list who received a reminder email multiple times last week. The problem was caused by an IT glitch (we’ll be talking to the system people about it).
Door Codes
Once you have renewed, you will be sent the new Door Codes to gain access to the clubhouse.
This gives access to the hallway and changing rooms. Please do not attempt to go into the galley/bar unless you have the new codes and know how to switch off the alarms. If you have a duty coming up this code will be sent to you before your duty.
The police will only attend a limited number of times if they keep getting false alarms because members have entered the main area without knowing the code - and we are already on the naughty list!
If you do not have a duty coming up, but feel that you need the code, please contact a flag officer who will be able to help you out.
Bar Code
This obviously also applies to access behind the Bar, which uses a different code. If you would like to join the bar team, and need training including alarm operation, please contact Helen Bennett, who would be delighted to welcome you to her team. helenbennett43@yahoo.com
