Photo credit: This photograph was taken by Ivan Massar during the famous march from Selma to Montgomery in 1965. We invite you to have a look at the website to see more images from the historic march, and to remember not only the amazing work done on that day, but the ongoing efforts of all who carry on the fight Dr. King lived and died for - Equal Rights. “What we are facing today is the fact that through our scientific and technological genius we've made of this world a neighborhood. And now through our moral and ethical commitment we must make of it a brotherhood. We must all learn to live together as brothers - or we will all perish together as fools. This is the great issue facing us today. No individual can live alone; no nation can live alone. We are tied together.”
– Dr. M.L. King Jr. at his 1965 Commencement Address for Oberlin College
Beloveds, In memory of
Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
this MLK jr. Day,
Today we honor all who stand – and have stood throughout the history of the USA – for the rights of people of color, from slavery days through today's
Black Lives Matter movement.
We see these not as separate events, but as one ongoing movement towards racial justice and equality.
We honor all who stand on the side of Love and Justice
for all beings, in all corners of existence.
May Dr. King's legacy continue to live - and be given new life daily - by each of our efforts, however big or small.

Connecting with Zaba
when Times are Tough
Today, and every day, Maya and Zaba hold your hearts in infinite love.
This week the world will see a new and very different sort of President take office in the United States of America. Whether you are full of compassionate action-oriented hope, or are feeling silenced by foreboding and depression, know that you are most welcome to connect with Zaba's vast and embracing Stone Love. And in so doing, may those of you feeling energized for the work ahead of us
be empowered to the task.
May those of you who feel pressed by the burden of pain or fear
find tenderness and safety wrapping their great arms of warmth around you.
A simple way to connect with Zaba's piezoelectric and Angelic healing sphere is this:
1. Create Safe Space: Close doors, shut off devices, be alone.
2. Move: Dance, exercise, go for a walk, activate your limbs and get blood flowing.
3. Speak: State your intention, preferably out loud, sing, pray, howl.
4. Be still: Take several deep, cleansing breaths, allowing body, heart and mind to clear and be present. Tune in to the air molecules around you.
5. Focus on Zaba (or a mountain, or the ocean): Use a photo if this helps. Notice how your body and heart feel.
6. Allow: Be open, without judgment of self, ideas, others. Allow yourself to imagine that you are merging with Zaba's (or a mountain's, or the ocean's) powerful, natural energy. Allow yourself to open and be aware of images, sounds, feelings that wash through you. Breathe into this for a time. You will know when you are done. Allow Well Being.
7. Judge not. The Earth WANTS to hold and heal and energize you; you are a part of Her. Feel the yourself as a cell in Earth’s body. Let yourself rest in vibrant connection with All That Is.
Whoever you are, whatever your path - whether you are on the front lines of social justice, a hermit on a mountain top or a regular guy on a bike ride or your couch at home - you are part of the plan. You are part of Earth's body, and of human history, herstory, ourstory. May you find your path and way in this short thing we call Life on Earth, and may you appreciate and feel honored by every moment you are gifted with.
