I need a hand in helping my Theatre home in LA stay alive this year ♥

2016 was a kick in the pants... ESP for us who loved Intimate Theatre in Los Angles... No matter what my Union says I will always love and be forever grateful for the 99seat movement. It brought me my theatre family and so many wonderful people into my life from my theatre home at Theatre of NOTE to many others (ESP those at Sacred Fools Theater Company)

So what's an LA Brit Intimate Theatre Lover to do eh?
She will love and support her theatre to the end...

And that includes becoming a Marathon-a-thoner at the
NOTE Annual Hollywood Performance Marathon

So now I ask do you wish to join me helping keep my theatre home alive?
If so why not be a sponsor?
The Performance Marathon is a highly anticipated local tradition that's an all-day-all-night extravaganza of eclectic performances
You can sponsor anything from $1 to $1,000,000 per hour!
Or, if you'd prefer to set a flat rate...that's all good too! All donations are tax deductible and it's all for the arts!

You can set a maximum if you'd like. Example $5 per hour or max of $50 whichever comes first.
In full disclosure I do plan to be there the entire time.
The show starts at 3pm and the last act will probably end around 3am.

Talking of my lovely theatre company...

I am beyond proud that Theatre of NOTE is taking part in
the Ghostlight Project This Thursday!

On January 19, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in each time zone across the country, members of the theater community - from Broadway to regional theaters to high schools and colleges
and community theaters -
will come together to launch The Ghostlight Project.

Gathering outside of theaters on the eve of the Presidential Inauguration, people will join in a collective, simultaneous action, together creating “light” for challenging times ahead. Inspired by the tradition of leaving a "ghost light" on in a darkened theater, artists and communities will make or renew a pledge to stand for and protect the values of inclusion, participation, and compassion for everyone--regardless of race, class, religion, country of origin, immigration status, (dis)ability,
age, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

January 19th is a moment of gathering within a larger resistance
to intolerance at all levels.
We aim to create brave spaces that will serve as lights
in the coming years.
We aim to activate a network of people across the country
working to support vulnerable communities.
This is not a substitution for protests or direct action,
but rather a pledge for continued vigilance and increased advocacy.

Stop by the Theatre Thursday is you are in the area.
Doors opening at 5pm.
