Schedule Changes at the IUPUI Natatorium
Due to limited participation, the evening practices at 5:30p at the IUPUI Natatorium are being temporarily suspended as of Monday (1/30). In addition, the 5:30a practices will be reduced to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Should participation increase, we will adjust our schedule accordingly. We continue to have a great relationship with the facility and staff at IUPUI, as this was primarily a financial decision. Your Board is seeking to provide the best program and facilities possible, while following sound financial practices. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Postal Swim Opportunity on Sunday
It's once again time for the USMS One Hour ePostal National Championships. Your goal is to swim far as possible in one hour (in any 25-yard or longer pool). The USMS entry fee is just $7; IAM members may also donate a tax-deductible gift to IAM as part of their swim.  This year's opportunity to Swim 1, Count 1 is THIS Sunday (1/22) at the IUPUI Natatorium. Swimmers will either swim at 8:00a / count at 9:15a or count at 8:00a / swim at 9:15a. Please sign up for your preferred time slot. Entry forms must be turned in to Mel by March 3.

Way to Go, IAM!
Four IAM swimmers competed last Sunday at the 13th Annual New Year's Resolution Swim Meet. All 4 raced to first place finishes in their respective events, including Linda Marvin (W 40-44; 50 Fly, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Free, 200 IM), Stephen Rouch (M 35-39; 100 Fly, 200 Free, 500 Free, 200 IM, 400 IM), Erica Smith (W 25-29; 50 Fly, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Free, 200 IM), and Sam Welch (M 25-29; 50 Fly, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Free, 200 IM). In addition, these 4 swimmers raced to first place finishes in the 25+ Mixed 200 Free Relay and the 25+ Mixed 200 Medley Relay. SwimCation V is Almost Here
There is still time to join your IAM teammates in Fort Lauderdale from February 22 - 26. With 2 pool practices and 1 dryland workout each day, there will still be plenty of time to relax, socialize, and enjoy the beach! Just $60 to reserve your spot, so RSVP today. Questions? Contact Mel.

Registration is Open for IAM's 2017 Adult Learn-to-Swim
Registration is now open for the 2017 sessions of IAM's Adult Learn-to-Swim Program. If you know any adults who need to learn to swim, please let them know. Due to a scheduling conflict, there will be NO 5:30p practice at the IUPUI Natatorium on Tuesday, 1/24. Please join us at one of our other locations.
