What VisitWiltshire has been up to...
|

We have put together a summary of activity and achievements throughout 2016, which was issued recently as our Annual Marketing Update. Just in case you missed it please take a moment to read by clicking below.

All new 2017 VisitWiltshire printed publications are now available
|
|
Digital copies of our three main publications for 2017 – the Visitor Guide, Visitor Map and Travel Trade Guide – are now available to download from our website here.
- The Visitor Guide is targeted mainly at staying visitors, giving them compelling reasons to choose Wiltshire. 50,000 copies will be distributed via Information Centres around the UK, at exhibitions, at selected in-store outlets and to named individuals via a lead generation campaign.
- The Visitor Map is targeted mainly at day visitors. 200,000 copies will be distributed via information centres around the UK, exhibitions at home and abroad, selected accommodation, attractions, in-store outlets, Park & Ride sites and service stations, and the London People at Work network.
- All the information in the Travel Trade Guide has been compiled specifically with groups in mind. 8,000 copies will be distributed via a mailshot to contacts on our database, at exhibitions at home and overseas, and to named individuals responding to our annual groups marketing campaign.

Our Cities campaign has recently been launched and the campaign page with the leaflet can be seen here. Results from this campaign will reported in due course.

We have put together a 2017 PR Matrix (planned schedule) for consumer press releases (issued prior to school holidays), corporate press releases and town press releases. If you want to find out more or submit information for consideration please contact Flo.

Stonehenge A303 road public consultation
|

You may be aware that Highways England has been investigating options for improving the 7.5 mile section of the A303 between Amesbury and Berwick Down past Stonehenge. The public consultation is now open until 5 March 2017 for people to submit their views on the proposals. Please click here to have your say!

South West Tourism Awards and Conference

South West Tourism Awards 2016/2017 - The awards celebration dinner will take place on 2 February at Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol. Further information on format, venue and speakers can be found here.
