Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding
Head over to Long Lake Ski Hill at Long Lake Provincial Park for a day of downhill skiing or snowboarding. The line-ups are short, the smiles are contagious, and the prices are unbeatable.
We also have several other excellent ski hills in the region to check out: Mount Joy, Valley Ski Hill, and Kinooso Ridge.

Cross Country Skiing
Get out into the crisp, fresh, winter air and enjoy the sport of cross country skiing. The east of Edmonton region offers numerous excellent locations for you to check out for this activity, including Elk Island National Park (with over 100 km of trails!), the Strathcona Wilderness Centre, and the Vermilion Provincial Park (home of cross-country skiing Olympic gold medalist Beckie Scott.

Head to Elk Island National Park for great snowshoeing, skating, and cross-country skiing.
