Measure Set Education Series
Your Compass HIIN team will be holding a HIIN Measure Set Education Series on Thursday, January 26, and Thursday, February 2, from 11:00 to 12:30 a.m. The PowerPoint slides will be posted on HIINnovation prior to the webinars.

Objectives:
  • Provide an overview for Compass HIIN measures including numerator/denominator and data sources.
  • Provide recommended team members for each focus area.
  • Provide measure-specific tips and tricks.
  • Answer questions related to measures, data collection, etc. 
Part One: Thursday, January 26th  (11:00 AM to 12:30 PM)
Measures include: PFE, Readmissions, ADE, VTE, Falls and Pressure Ulcers

IHA District Meetings

Here are the dates for the first round of IHA district meetings:

  • February 1—District E, IHA Board Room at 7:30 a.m.
  • February 3—District B, Mercy Medical Center in Mason City
  • February 23—District C, Waverly Health Center in Waverly
  • February 24—District A, Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee
  • March 1—District G, To be announced
  • March 2—District F, Jefferson County Health Center, Fairfield
  • March 3—District D, Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic

All meetings begin at 10:00 a.m. Hospital quality leaders are invited to attend these meetings. Please talk with your CEO about inviting members of the quality team to your respective district meeting.

Site Visits
 
Improvement Advisors will be contacting all hospitals throughout the next several weeks to set up site visits with your HIIN team. Please reach out to your Improvement Advisor for assistance with measure selection, NHSN access, and reporting, and for assistance completing your work plan and measure selection.
