UW-Stevens Point is ranked in the Top 30 College and University list of largest green power users from the Green Power Partnership thanks in part to sustainability efforts of the CPS Cafe and many other campus groups. Read More
Students, alum build well in Africa
Led by Sam Dinga, a master's degree alum from the School of Health Promotion and Human Development, a handful of CPS students traveled to the Baku Village in Africa this winterim through the MaKah Foundation to build water wells for villages in honor of Sam's late sister MaKah Rosemary. Watch Video
StWEA earns national grant
The Student Wisconsin Education Association recently earned a $900 CREATE grant from the National Education Association to aid in the production of recruitment videos for the School of Education that will encourage enrollment in the program. Read More

Alum named runner-up for NFL high school football Coach of the Year
Kimberly High School football coach Steve Jones '02 (elementary education) finished as runner-up for the coveted Don Shula high school football Coach of the Year award presented by the NFL. Jones will receive $10,000 grants to his program and a $5,000 cash award as well as an all-expense trip to both the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl LI in Houston. Read More
2017 Tech Select faculty set to begin
The newest cohort of CPS Tech Select members includes Lynda Fernholz, Sterling Wall, Sallie Scovill, Joy O’Neil and Cuiting Li. These faculty members will be working on technology integration in the classroom and completing a service project with a community partner that utilized technology. Read More

This tip is from UW-La Crosse which recently produced a video (by its students) regarding inclusive negligence on the UW-L campus. Some of you may have seen it.
