I cannot tell you why some paintings flow along so easy and others come kicking and screaming into existence. And still others end up with a painting knife stabbed through the middle of the canvas. Today, I was all revved up to work on a series of three. I had contemplated, composed and planned; all that remained was the execution. I don't hate the results, but not sure I'm in love, either.
