Women’s Prayer Connection:
To Pray for Each Other and Build Strong Bonds of Friendship
The Women’s Ministry Team has experienced a strong leading from the Lord to help the adult women, college women, and teenage girls of GC2 build stronger connections with each other in prayer and in friendship. So, we are launching an opportunity for girls & women to commit to partnering in prayer for one another. Prayer partners can share, encourage, and pray, in person (how about coffee or lunch at the park?) or through media (email or text).
If you will commit to pray for another woman daily, and connect with her weekly, for three months, please read & complete the Women’s Prayer Connection insert in this Sunday’s bulletin. Thus Sunday, January 22nd we will gather together all completed forms and draw random partners, then you will be notified of your prayer partner via e-mail.

GC2 Church is volunteering with San Diego Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, January 28th, from 8 AM until 3:30 PM, to help build and repair local homes. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Please register on the website link provided prior to the build day.

we need SEVEN more volunteers.
Directions to the property, and specific work details will be emailed to you after signing up for the shift. Volunteers break for lunch at 11:30 am for 30 minutes. Close-toed shoes are required. Tools and safety supplies will be provided.

GC2 is Showing It's Appreciation To All Her Volunteers
On Sunday, January 29th, right after church (12:00 – 1:30PM) we are having a free Volunteer Appreciation Lunch for everyone.
There will be a buffet of build-your-own street tacos (carne asada, pollo asada and carnitas) with all the fixin's.
This lunch is dedicated to our faithful volunteers of all ages who serve at GC2 and is our simple way of saying, "Thank you," and showing our appreciation for your service. Everyone at GC2 is invited to join in celebrating our dedicated volunteers:
- If you have ever volunteered with GC2 Church – you are invited!
- If you have ever considered volunteering – you are invited!
- If a volunteer has been of assistance to you, or your children – you are invited! Please tell them how much you appreciate their helping hands!

CONTINUED PRAYERS NEEDED
Jasmine (Hsiao-Yu) Fann has begun the chemotherapy treatment. Continue to pray for Jasmine and her family: Pray for faith, peace, & complete trust in God.
Marine Lance Corporal Joshua Arnett has been temporarily reassigned and anticipates being deployed overseas for 10 months. Please pray for the Lord's protection and that he may always find godly Christian fellowship wherever he is.
Praise God! Ron Lee was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday. He was admitted for chest pains, but tests revealed nothing abnormal and he no longer experiencing chest pains.
Pray for a great year for GC2 Church in 2017! We are already putting together important plans for strengthening and growing our church.
