Operations Leader, Carbon War Room

Annual Fleet Fuel Study

Mike leads the North American Council for Freight Efficiency which is an unbiased, non-profit, that drives the acceleration of freight efficiency technologies.  The goal is to double the efficiency of goods movement and their focus is first on over the road tractor trailers.  Mike will share results of their Annual Fleet Fuel Study which utilizes fleet data to document adoption curves of 70 technologies and compares these results for past adoption to the EPA and GHGp2 forecast for those technologies.  This results in 30 years of information on technology.  Mike will also share the results of deep dive studies on the technologies, called Confidence Reports, offer thoughts on the DOE SuperTruck programs, the likely pathway of autonomous trucks and their payback and attempt to answer questions on other freight efficiency topics.
