Happy New Year

It's a new dawn, a new day and a new year. We wish all of our members a great and successful gardening year! :)

We recently reached 30,000 followers on Facebook and are delighted to be sharing the joy of gardening with so many people! Thanks to those of you who've followed us!

If you don't yet follow any of our social profiles, simply click the social links at the bottom of this newsletter :) And remember, any content we share, you can share to your business profiles!

And the Pantone of the Year is...

Greenery! Us "greenies" just love the fact that Greenery has been announced as the Pantone colour of the year by The Pantone Colour Institute!

Because Life really is a Garden  :)

Then, make some resolutions and form some proudly South African trends of your own for 2017…

Vertical Summer Planting!

No one ever said that gardening needs to only be done horizontally - so onwards and upwards this summer - let’s get vertical with our plants! This is a great activity, particularly if you have limited space to garden.

This is such an easy-peasy idea to do with the kids and it makes use of recycled products, so it is definitely a winner this summer.

Cheeky Chillies

Chillies are the most rewarding plants to grow. They are as hot on the eye as on the tongue, with glossy, multi-coloured fruit that glows against the dark green leaves.
