A new study has been carried out to evaluate the clinical utility of Capillary Electrophoresis/Immunosubtraction in patients with AL amyloidosis as an accurate diagnostic tool. ..."CE/IS was comparable with serum IFE for identifying serum monoclonal proteins and may be more sensitive than IFE for testing patients with newly diagnosed AL amyloidosis as well as those undergoing therapy."
