We are thrilled to welcome 2017 here at The Physiotherapy Clinic
We are geared up for an action packed year.

As you may know our team has grown significantly, and we’re enjoying our expansion to the Inner West and the Lower North Shore. You may wonder why we’ve made this big move to expand our clinic - the answer is simple - We wholeheartedly believe in what we do, so much so that we want as many people to have access to our services as possible.

Smiling faces on the first day at the brand new Cammeray Clinic!
L-R: Kate Leslie; Victoria Watson; Amanda Ellison & Joelene Murdoch

We will kick the year off focused by spending 2 days out of the clinic and out of Sydney, this year having our annual in house conference in Orange NSW. The theme is 'Time to Shine' and each team member will be presenting on various projects they have been working on throughout 2016 and clinical topics to share with the team. We will of course manage to do plenty of Yoga, Pilates and drink a good drop of Central West wine!

Introducing fresh and familiar faces

We welcome back Abbie Sayer from maternity leave. Abbie adds her divine nature and impressive clinical skills to the strong musculoskeletal and women’s health team.

We welcome from Melbourne, Ellen Barnett, she comes with her Post Grad Certificate in Continence and Women’s Health and will join us at both Bondi Junction and Cammeray. Ellen is very excited to join us in our mission to be the clinic of choice for children & women with continence Issues.

Late last year we welcomed Anna Lanyon to our team, Anna also has a strong musculoskeletal background and since having her little girl has developed a keen interest in women’s health and rehabilitation post natally.

Breanna Searle joined our front desk team last year due to the clinic exponentially expanding! She is based in both our Cammeray and Bondi Junction clinics and looks forward to getting to know you all.

We are very thrilled and privileged to gain the wealth of experience in Victoria Watson and Kate Leslie to our Cammeray Clinic. Both women have many years of experience in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and now in women’s health.

Great news for David Hawkins, Jeremy Daniher, Abbie Sayer and Tamara Woods who will join our Connect Therapy trained Physio’s, Hailey Knight (nee Welch) and Kate Leslie by doing the Discovery series this year with Dr. Linda Joy Lee. This will continue to grow our clinic in the direction of the connect therapy model and treating the whole body, that we so passionately believe in. Luckily we inservice fortnightly so everyone will benefit from the knowledge and skills gained through this course!

In other great news for 2017 - Thanks to the utter brilliance of our Paediatric Physio Chloe Priest we are taking on the Saturday Sports coverage for Cranbrook School. Our team will cover this every Saturday. We are looking forward to working with the school and adding this dimension to our great practice.

In 2017 we will aim to finalise the projects we have been working on.  We look forward to bringing you our very own Birth Skills course, our very own workshops for Personal Trainers, and our very own book on Pregnancy.

As we grow and expand locations our primary aim is to always maintain quality Physiotherapy. We are absolutely committed to our staff, their training and their happiness. We believe this will bring out the best in everyone.

Looking forward to working together in 2017. Have a great year!
