Sixteen students from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy recently visited 15 independent Kansas pharmacies.

The trip was designed to build relationships between pharmacy students and pharmacy owners in Kansas. The hope is those connections will lead to transitions of ownership and a continuation of vital pharmacy services in Kansas.

Sixty-one new law enforcement officers were congratulated by Wichita Police Department Chief Gordon Ramsay during their graduation from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center on Dec. 9.

The center is a division of University of Kansas Professional & Continuing Education.
