Dear Mt. Pisgah family,
I hope your 2017 is off to a great start!
This Sunday (WEATHER PERMITTING !!!!) our new series:Living Complaint Free begins. As I stated last week, our couture is experiencing an epidemic of complaining.
It's easy to get pulled into this current of complaining. If we're not careful, complaining can drain our joy and cause us to miss God's blessings. We are called to live differently, to rise above the chaos of our culture. To be salt and light means to use our words to build up, to encourage. We are called to be instruments of healing and hope. This is what it means to be salt and light.
So, if there was a different path available, would you take it? Join us this Sunday as we seek this new path for living in 2017: Living Complaint Free.

Worship This Weekend: Train Our Brains to No Longer Complain (Matthew 5: 13-16)
Christians are called to be different. We are salt and light. But we know it is difficult not to be pulled into the way of the world. It is easy to complain and criticize. Today's scripture encourages us to think about how we communicate and interact with others in ways that build up.
