Lunch & Launch

Are you looking to grow in your faith and make connections with people like you? Then a Small Group Community is the perfect place for you! During the lunch & launch event on January 22, you’ll be able to choose a small group with people of similar ages, locations, etc. Start the new year off surrounded by people who will support and accept you, while challenging you to grow to your fullest potential.

Dr. Mosser's Lectionary Bible Study Potluck

Each Tuesday Dr. Mosser presents information on the four scriptures from which the next Sunday’s sermons will focus. On January 17, the Lectionary Study will resume with a potluck at 5:30 pm and the study from 6:00-7:00 pm.

Lesser Known Women of the Bible Study

Compared to the number of stories about men, the Bible contains relatively few stories about women. While a few women, for example Ruth, Esther, Mary, and Mary Magdalene, are well known, most women and their stories remain lost in silence and obscurity. Yet, if we are willing to listen, whether the women are speaking or silent, their voices have much to say to women in our day. Join Dr. Alfie Wines and let's explore the lives and legacies of Lesser Known Women of the Bible.

Good Friday Choir Kickoff Rehearsal

All are invited to sing with the choir as we begin rehearsals for our major presentation with orchestra for the Good Friday worship service. Lunch will follow in the Banquet Room--Free for new members, youth/college students.

Women's Retreat
January 27-28

This year's theme for our retreat will be Sweet Life Cafe: Where Women Savor Time With God. We will meet at Still Water Lodge in Glen Rose, Texas. Accommodations are hotel quality. Saturday Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. This a great time of fellowship with Sisters in Christ. Registration Fee is $100
