Our business model is simple: make the sale situation work the most mutually beneficial way possible for both our buying and selling clients. For starters, we put fair market prices on everything from the beginning. We don’t start by gouging on the first day and then blast them out the door with ridiculously reduced prices on the last day if they don’t sell. The business of antiques and collectibles deserves more respect than that, which is why we have ulterior means of getting the most value for these items.

I met Wayne at my friend of 50 yrs. estate sale. She has had a sudden life-change recently where her husband of 45 years needed a care home and my friend had to down-size quickly from her 3,000 sq. ft. home to an 1100 sq ft home.

Time was of the essence and Wayne took on this mammoth task of preparing her home for the 3 day event last month. Both Kelly & her husband had a lifetime of collections on top of their 45 years of 'things'. Wayne took the stress and worry out of the down-size for my friend. He was true to his word and cleaned up every conceivable bit of 'left-overs' after the sale was finished.

Wayne's demeanour was just perfect for my friend. He stayed calm and reassuring the entire time and looking back, I know we could never have achieved the results Wayne got for her. He worked tirelessly in the cold and rain, with soaking wet clothes and a smile on his face for everyone who came.

Buyer Beware! Someone is Trying to Ambush our Clients

We must make our position clear in the fabricated association that June Wood of Smart Move in Qualicum Beach is again attempting to make with our company. She is misrepresenting herself by catching unaware internet searchers who are looking for us. She has been doing this since she purchased the domain name 'vancouverislandestateliquidaors.com' that is forwarded to her real website and uses it in her sales ads.

It has taken us years to build a solid reputation for our clients with the cooperative efforts of Cool Tech Writing & Design and we apologize if anyone has been mislead when doing an internet search for our company. These are bad business practices to say the least.

Be it known we would not have gone to this extreme measure of placing this in your fun time newsletter, but she refuses to stop using our company name at every request.

Again, our apologies for intruding on an otherwise most enjoyable read.
