Time to update you with my latest news and to wish you a happy Lunar Year of the Pig. Let's hope it is a good one.
12 March 2019: Screening of Watercress and Daffodils
My video Watercress and Daffodils (50 mins) explores the parallels between the structural laying bare of Russell Gardens as it is about to undergo a major restoration project as part of Dover District Council’s Kearsney Parks project and the revelation of a personal story connected to Kearsney Court Gardens, of which Russell Gardens was once an integral part.
It is being screened on 12 March and 12 April at Dover's Silver Screen cinema and will be followed by Park Bench, a DAD Video Production, directed by Joanna Jones, (edited with Jamie Jenkinson, sound Richard Bundy).
Watercress and Daffodils, 50 mins (co-editor, Benjamin Hunt, sound editor Tom McCarthy) is part of Art in the Park: Kearsney Interpreted, a project delivered by Dover District Council in partnership with Dover Arts Development.
The project involves a series of artist residencies and the work produced through the residencies includes sculptures, one-off performative events and artists’ films.
