FORTY YEARS!

Since the first production season in 1977, our vibrant little theatre company has played a vital cultural role in the community, offering a creative home for people of all ages and a source of entertainment and enrichment for coastal residents and visitors alike. This year, we celebrate our fortieth production season with six exciting main stage plays, a reading series, workshops, and special events.

MORNING'S AT SEVEN

Our 40th anniversary season opens in March with a revival of Paul Osborn's endearing comedy Morning's At Seven. First performed on the MTC stage in 1987, the play follows four aging sisters as their lives are thrown into turmoil when one of their sons finally brings his longtime girlfriend home to meet the family. The play, directed by Bob Cohen, features Ruby Bell Sherpa, Debira Branscombe, Lynn Sotos and Jan Saul as sisters Etsy, Cora, Ida, and Arry.  Dan Kozloff, Mark Friedrich, Phillip Regan, Dwight Branscombe, and Crystal Leatherwood round out the talented cast.

LES FILLES ROUGES

The popular burlesque troupe returns!

Founded in Mendocino in 2011, Les Filles Rouges represents a unique blend of dance, comedy, and empowerment; much more than a series of stripteases. Their new show is a send-up of the Fairytale genre and the "Disneyfication" of classic stories. The cast is full of well-known characters such as Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, but without the theme of "damsels in distress".

Les Filles Rouges perform on February 10th and 11th at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm at the Mendocino Theatre Company, 45200 Little Lake Rd, Mendocino.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door and are available  HERE, or by calling our box office at 707-937-4477.
Adults 21 and older only.
