Symposium 2017!!

And just like that we are back into Symposium planning! Don't miss this awesome event - it's a great opportunity to network, upskill, revalidate, train and socialise!

Registrations for the 2017 NZOIA National Training Symposium will open next Tuesday 31 January.  A link to the registration form will be put up on our website on Tuesday. Note: if you have registered for a Symposium before, you will have to click 'Start a new registration' as your old password won't work.

The Symposium will be held at St Arnaud and will be hosted by Rotoiti Lodge and NMIT. We expect to sell out this year, so register early if you don't want to miss out.

The Early Bird Member price of $425 is available until 31 May 2017 ($475 after the 31 May). Included in the Symposium Registration fee are three nights accommodation, all meals from Thursday dinner to lunch on Sunday, Refresher Workshops (usually $175 each), Training Workshops and the awards dinner function on Saturday night.

You can also check out the Symposium page on our website for more information.

After leaving the mountain radio buried in the snow after our camp in the upper Wye creek, the next week we had to and try and retrieve the $2000.00 radio (so Nick did not have to pay for it).  This is the moment of success when a student’s elation is realized.  Ironically it is also the time of the Olympics – please note his gold medal (Compass) appropriately placed! – Well done Nick Fausch – you earnt it! - Andy Thompson, Otago Polytechnic
