Seolal, the Lunar New Year
From January 27th to 30th, Korea celebrated the Lunar New Year. In the Korean tradition, this is the day when the spirits of the ancestors descend to earth to spend time with their descendants. Therefore, it is an important feast for Korean families who gather for the traditional prostration of young people in front of their elders, the exchange of wishes of good health and the gift of envelope of money.
