L’Orchestre des Nations Unies a été créé en 2011 par Antoine Marguier, Directeur Musical et Martine Coppens, Présidente.
Dirigé par un chef d’orchestre professionnel, il est composé de musiciens talentueux et passionnés, issus des cinq continents, il incarne les valeurs des Nations Unies et de la Genève Internationale, en Suisse et à l’étranger. Il vise l’excellence musicale avec des programmes classiques et variés, toujours très accessibles à un public élargi.
Depuis sa création, l'Orchestre a récolté plus de CHF170'000 de contributions pour des actions de charité.
The United Nations Orchestra was created in 2011 by Antoine Marguier, musical director and Martine Coppens, president.
The orchestra is conducted by a professional conductor and is made up of talented and passionate musicians from the four corners of the globe; the orchestra embodies the values of the United Nations, the international community in Geneva, Switzerland and the world. The aim is to achieve excellence in music with performances of classical and varied programmes which always appeal to a wide audience.
Since its inception, the Orchestra has raised more than CHF170,000 in charitable donations.
