Hey Folks,
Troy Farm’s first CSA delivery of the 2017 season may still be several months out, but much of the planning for the upcoming season has been underway for sometime. It began before last year's season came to a close. Fall cover crops were sown in anticipation of the upcoming crop rotation, garlic was planted to emerge first thing in the spring, and end-of-the-season surveys were sent out to solicit your feedback. Since then, we’ve been busy meeting, planning, and deliberating over the very big and seemingly miniscule decisions that will undoubtedly shape our 2017 season. What’s the best structure and composition of labor to meet our needs? Where are we going to squeeze in another ten beds of strawberries? How on earth are we going to pull off another season of pizza nights?
We may not have it all figured out yet, but rest assured, we're working on it. With our seed order complete and the farm plan just about buttoned up, we’re turning our attention to you, the members. Because, the truth is, none of this is possible without you. You’re why we’re here and you’re at the center of every decision we make.
