Belleplate Groups

The Belleplate group normally meets weekly at 7.45pm in the Geen Room.  Anyone wishing to try ringing Belleplates would be more than welcome to join us at any meeting.  The ability to read music scores is not required. Contact Peter Wheeler: 01223 971057.
Haverhill Food Bank

We are currently OK for food following the generous Christmas collection at Tesco Haverhill.

We still have clients who are in need of basic items to help them once they have obtained accommodation. This has led us to look at our stocks of Starterpack items and how best we can support clients, particularly in emergency situations. We have decided to use the next few weeks in building up our stock of these and would ask if you are still happy to donate single and double bedding, saucepans, towels & kitchen utensils, rather than food items, we’d be very grateful. Ultimately we aim to have a small stock of microwaves, fridges, toasters & Z beds too, so if anyone has any of these items please contact Linda or John. Collection and distribution of items is, as always, free of charge.

If you are not already familiar with the support REACH provides in our locality please visit  our website  http://www.reachhaverhill.org.uk/

There is no charge for collection. Please contact REACH on 01440 268003 or John or Linda Pearson.

It is an informal process to help to build skill and confidence for those who do not read, or are read to, at home. No experience is required. The time commitment is about 90 minutes per week and the results are very rewarding. If you are interested and want to find out more please speak to John Pearson.
