We have a few extra things going on this month.
Daishin Patrick Vigil will be leading a class on Buddhism for next couple of months. It is open to all.
Forrest Evans, a founding member of AZC will be holding a chanting medicine circle.
These events should be a lot of fun, I hope you can make it.
I have also updated theDay Sitschedule to help it blend better with our usual Saturday practice. For those who are staying for the day Silence will be observed beginning at
9:30 am.
Virginia is asking every one to return your overdue Library books. You know those books you borrowed a very, very long time ago. Virginia or I can provide you the name of the books if you need help.
Attendance has been great and Donations not so much. I have idea next time you participate in one of our events (movie, day sit, full moon or a class on Buddhism) drop a few bucks into one of the donation boxes. Just in case you want to do something now, there is a paypal button below. I would like to thank all of you who have given in the past and those who give regularly, thank you, your donations are truly appreciated.

Please check your shelves for AZC Library books and return them to the Albuquerque Zen Center, 2300 Garfield SE, Albuquerque 87106. We are doing a major upgrade of the library system and need to clean up the old over-due records for books checked out or missing. It's a big project and your help would be deeply appreciated. “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” Gautama Siddharta,

AZC is funded entirely by the donations of our sangha members
and the support of those who strive, as we do,
to help others see their worlds a bit more clearly.
We welcome your support.
