Message from our Executive Director, Sherry Sinclair
"Our community-partnerships are a tried-and-true method to achieve healthy families and its where we demonstrate our value. We are all one community, and we thank you for all your work in supporting families across the province."

And we would also like to share some fantastic words from our friends at the Comox Valley Family Services Association.

Why is it important to celebrate Family Day?
"Because it can be a positive life-affirming event for children in all families. Families aren’t just about what family you were born into,  but rather about love and acceptance and being around people that are invested in their well-being. Family is also about how children can never have too much love whether that is from bio parents, grandparents, foster parents, adoptive parents or community family- love and acceptance are key to children’s resiliency and growth. When our agency invests in families it trickles down to create a society where compassion and kindness thrive and we no longer need to struggle or celebrate alone."

Thank you Comox Valley Family Services Association for sharing!

Game On - Report by Youth Rex

ParticpACTION Report Card
The BCcampus on behalf of the British Columbia Office for The Early Years  has developed a new province wide training portal.

This portal collects workshops, events, and training opportunities. The goal of the portal is to provide support and access to high quality development opportunities for professionals in the early years sector.

Kids in the House provides the largest video library of parenting resources for a variety of needs, including pregnancy, toddler, special needs and more.

This report focuses on the positive effects structured and un-structured sports can have on the well-being of youth facing psychosocial behaviors.

The report released by The BC Council for Families has outlined how Canadian Kids receive a "B" grade. for sleep. This PartcipAction Report Card furthers an existing narrative that  lack of sleep is negatively affecting child health in Canada.
