Evenings with IAM
Dear <<First Name>>,
Stay Tuned for Evening Practice Updates
As you know,
the evening practices at 5:30p at the IUPUI Natatorium are being temporarily suspended as of Monday (1/30). Now, due to lighting issues, the
Butler evening practices (6:00p) are suspended until further notice. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes you and our diligently working on a solution to provide an evening practice opportunity for our swimmers until the Butler pool is reopened. Please be patient and stay tuned....
Mornings at the Nat
The
5:30a practices will be reduced to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Should participation increase, we will adjust our schedule accordingly. We continue to have a great relationship with the facility and staff at IUPUI, as this was primarily a financial decision. Please
let us know if you have any questions.
Congratulations Postal Swimmers!
Congratulations to all the IAM swimmers who completed their USMS One Hour ePostal swims on Sunday. Have you completed your swim? IT'S NOT TOO LATE. This year, you have until February 28th to do your One Hour Swim. Your goal? To
swim far as possible in one hour (in any 25-yard or longer pool). The USMS entry fee is just $7; IAM members may also donate a tax-deductible gift to IAM as part of their swim.
Entry forms must be
turned in to Mel by March 3.
SwimCation V is Almost Here
There is still time to join your IAM teammates
in Fort Lauderdale from February 22 - 26. With 2 pool practices and 1 dryland workout each day, there will still be plenty of time to relax, socialize, and enjoy the beach! Just $60 to reserve your spot, so
RSVP today. Questions?
Contact Mel.

Cooking for a Cause
IAM member
Michael McCullough is participating in a fundraising effort called
100 Men Who Cook. All proceeds will support the
Center for Leadership Development. Michael sees this fundraiser as an
opportunity to make a difference and have some fun at the same time. How can you help? First and foremost, you can go to the
event website and click the button,
Donate/Tip Your Chef. Find Michael's picture and make your donation. Second, on
Saturday, 2/18, from
6:00-10:00p, there will be 100 local Men Who Will Cook and prepare a variety of dishes, including Michael who will be making his
Heavenly Bacon Burgers. For more information, check out the
100 Men Who Cook website or see Michael on deck.
Weekend Schedule
Saturday's practice (1/28) will be at
Fishers High School at 6:15a. Sunday (1/29) will be at
Carmel High School at 9:00a. See you there!
