Ed Werenich GOLDEN WRENCH CLASSIC - Jan 19-22

Starting today, our Club will be hosting the annual Golden Wrench Classic.  Come down to the Club, support our club teams, and watch some great competitive curling live!  Full event tickets (all 4 days) can be purchased for $25 or buy a daily pass at the door for $10.  Local teams include:  
   Darryl HORSMAN, Mike Greenberg, Eric Kowal, Brian Patrick
   Nils JOHANNSON, Gary McKnight, Bert Fredericksen, Travis Gaddie
   Mike SIGGINS, Bob LeClair, Tom Danielson, Jeff Baird  

$10,000 Raffle Update - Deadline is Feb-4-2017!

We have distributed or sold 1,790 of the 2,000 tickets available.  To date, $3,790 dollars (representing 379 tickets) have been turned in.  I am confident that many more tickets have been sold and, with only 17 days left until the drawing at half-time on Super Bowl Sunday, I encourage you to return all the tickets and sales proceeds to myself (Greg Gallagher) or someone on the Budget Committee (Carol Ann Naso or Brian Cristall) as soon as possible – and absolutely no later than Feb 4^th, 2017.  You can also leave tickets and proceeds at the Bar at the Club in an envelope with Greg Gallagher's or the Budget Committee’s name on it.
 
If you have any tickets that you cannot sell, please come to the Club this weekend (Golden Wrench from Jan 19 – 22) and try to sell them there – we are expecting record crowds again this year!  Alternatively, you can return unsold tickets to Brian Cristall – he will be at the Club all day Saturday (Jan 21) starting at 9am and will attempt to sell them to the crowds of viewers.  If you cannot get to the Club on Saturday, please call or e-mail (greg@benderassoc.com) me immediately and we can make arrangements to get the tickets turned back in.  If you do not turn them back in, it will be assumed that you will have sold them and will be responsible for the tickets and proceeds.
 
Many of you may not excel at selling raffle tickets or Girl Scout cookies!  But this is one avenue to generate funds for your curling club that benefit you – reduce league fees, improve the quality of our ice house, improve the look of our warm room, allow us to lower the cost of our beverages behind the bar, and help pay off our debt.  Sell a ticket – gift a ticket – buy a ticket – support the Coyotes Curling Club! BONSPIEL UPDATE

Canada Week - February 2 - 5, 2017          Deadline: Jan-23
Sponsored by KeatsConnelly, the Canada Week Bonspiel is an open bonspiel for all to enjoy. This year marks the 2nd year of our newest and most Loonie of annual bonspiels!  Get out of the cold and come to Arizona for a little curling and take advantage of great resort and golf prices in the desert. Spring Training - March 9 - 12, 2017           Deadline:  Mar-25

Desert Ice - April 20 - 23, 2017                     Deadline:  Apr-10                        
The Desert Ice Bonspiel is an open bonspiel.  This year marks the 12th year of our annual bonspiel and it continues to get bigger and better every year.  Come to Arizona for a little curling in the desert in beautiful Tempe, Arizona at the new dedicated Coyotes Curling Club.  For information on this bonspiel, please contact Karen at karen@deserticebonspiel.com or go to http://www.deserticebonspiel.com . Hotter 'n Hell - July 14 - 17, 2017                 Registration Opens:  March-13 
The Hotter 'n Hell Bonspiel is an open bonspiel.  This is the 4th year of our Summer Bonspiel.  It's a great way to "cool off" so come on out for a little curling in the desert in the summer and take advantage of great summer resort and golf prices in the desert.  For information on this bonspiel, please contact hth@coyotescurling.com.
