Notes from the Office:

Good Luck to Mrs. Cords!:
Today is Mrs. Cords' last teaching day. We want to thank her for her service to St. Kilian for the last year and half. Good luck as you start a new chapter in your professional life. The Holy Family Community is lucky to get you!

Welcome to St. Kilian!

6th Grade:
With Mrs. Cords moving on to a new position, I want to welcome Miss Michelle Wisby who will take over the teaching and homeroom duties of Mrs. Cords starting January 25th. Miss Wisby is currently finishing her student teaching assignment in Eau Claire.

Parish Office:
With the departure of Mrs. Sue Krebs in the Parish Office, we welcome Mrs. Joni Volkert to the St. Kilian Family! Mrs. Volkert began her assignment this past Monday. She will be the direct contact for scheduling, bulletin items, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Fr. David!

VFW Patriot's Pen Writing Competition:
Congratulations to Greg Gehring (7th Grade) and Nash Merklein (6th Grade), who participated in the Patriot's Pen Writing Competition. Greg took 1st place and Nash came in 4th place out of 570 participants in our area! Greg's essay moves on to the next round of competition. Way to go!

Missing Silverware:
Please check your student's lunchboxes for school silverware. We have a feeling that the a couple of our kiddos are using school spoons and/or forks with their cold lunches and throwing them in their bags, instead or placing them in the tray area. Your help is greatly appreciated! If you have noticed a random fork or spoon hanging out in your silverware drawer, please send it back to the cafeteria...it misses its friends!

After School Learning Program (ASLP) Reminder:
If you would like an opportunity for your student to work on homework with the guidance of a staff member right after school, please think about ASLP.

For only $7.00/afternoon, your student may work in a quiet, focused environment. This is a great option for students waiting for practice or those who struggle to complete homework at home. Please click here for more information.
