ReVerb Super Bowl Party
Coming up on Sunday, February 5, Northstar's Youth Group will have a Super Bowl Party at the Beyers' house in Blacksburg. Things will begin at 6:00 p.m. and we'll be there until a champion is crowned! There will be lots of food, fun, and games. Be sure to invite a friend or two!

GAP Spring Kickoff
GAPpers! This Saturday, January 21, GAP is having its Spring Kickoff at the Northstar Ministry Center! Join us beginning at 7:00 p.m. for Family Feud, as well as other games, snacks, and fun fellowship with old and new friends. If you don't have a small group, this is a great chance to find one!

 Northstar Volunteer Ministry
A new semester has begun in Blacksburg and at Northstar Church. With the new semester come new opportunities to serve and we are actively looking for folks who are interested in meeting new people and want to invest in God's kingdom through service. You are encouraged to get involved in an area where you can use your talents to bless others, whether that be through set up and tear down on Sundays or in helping with children's ministry.

 Family Bible Reading Plan
Northstar's Children's Ministry believes that it is crucial for parents to be deeply involved in discipling their children and fostering their growth in Christ. That's why we are encouraging our families to participate in a new Family Bible Reading Plan. Stop by our table this Sunday and pick up your copy of the reading plan as well as a free, age-appropriate Bible that you and your child can read through together.

 ReVerb Breakfast Club
Youth! Beginning in February, ReVerb will be meeting on the last Friday of each month for The Breakfast Club! This will be a chance for you to participate in a morning of devotional study and breakfast. You will get to hear from your peers and it will be a great opportunity for you to invite your friends to a fun, low pressure event. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!

 Moms In Prayer
We are excited to begin a new ministry at Northstar called Moms In Prayer! If you are a woman who has a passion for praying for your child, other children, their schools, and our community, we invite you to join us! We are planning to meet on several Thursdays throughout the remainder of the semester from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the Northstar Ministry Center. Our next Moms In Prayer meeting will be on Thursday, January 26. If you plan to attend this meeting, please RSVP here so we will know to provide snacks and childcare for enough people.
