BlueChoice HealthPlan works hard to make purchasing our products an easy choice for employers and make selling them easy for you! Be on the lookout for helpful hints to give your clients more advantages with BusinessADVANTAGE.
 
BusinessADVANTAGE is an affordable and comprehensive series of health plans with options to suit employers with 2 − 50 employees. Our plans offer:
  • All-Inclusive Office Routine Services Benefit — Covers all diagnostic and treatment services (including labs and X-rays) provided at a medical office of a participating doctor. These services include diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, surgical procedures, medical supplies, consultation and treatments. Also, it provides coverage at other authorized places such as lab vendors and specialty providers.
  • Preventive Services — Many preventive services, including routine health screenings and well-baby and well-child care visits provided by in-network doctors, are provided at no cost to the member.
  • Adult Vision Care — Zero-dollar routine eye exam or one exam for contact lenses per benefit period. Zero dollars for one pair of eyewear from a designated selection every other benefit period.
  • Pediatric Vision Care Twenty-five dollars for one eye exam and $50 for one pair of lenses and frames from a designated selection per benefit year at network providers.
  • Preventive Dental — Members enjoy an increased reimbursement for preventive care from any South Carolina licensed dentist.
    • Preventive dental, one exam every six months: initial $50/periodic $50
    • Preventive dental, one cleaning every six months: $50
  • Chiropractic Coverage — All plans include chiropractic coverage with no exclusions (limited to five visits a year).
  • Blue CareOnDemandSM — Members have 24/7/365 access to a doctor by video or smartphone.
  • Great Expectations® For Health — The program includes 20 wellness and disease management programs that focus on the early detection of illness and the prevention of disease.
  • Comprehensive Provider Network — It includes the BlueCard® national network and excellent provider network discounts.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provided by First Sun EAP — All plans cover three face-to-face counseling sessions and three telephone life management sessions. Because First Sun EAP is a separate company from BlueChoice®, First Sun is solely responsible for all services related to individual assistance programs.
