ART HEARTS
Need a gift for your loves on Valentine's Day? Pick up an Art Heart in the online shop or pick some out in person at our Pop Up Art Show February 12th at the Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery. Don't forget, a portion of all sales is donated to philanthropic art projects. Feeling the love?
This installation from the Bone Series was custom created for the Healdsburg Center for the Arts Clay & Glass exhibit. It is comprised of 43 ceramic discs that are connected to each other with steel cables on an 8'x8' wall. The cables are anchored to the wall with eye hooks that float the installation just a few inches off the wall. This allows for strong shadows from both the ceramic pieces and the cables to fall on the wall adding another layer of dimension to the piece. The tension on the installation allows for it to move slightly as vibration or air circulate around the piece.
This piece can be reconfigured as a custom site specific installation for a home, restaurant or corporate space. It would work beautifully as a screen room divider, accent for an open archway or make an impact on an accent wall. The soft, earthy coloring of the ceramic glazes compliment a monochromatic palette to bold bright colors. Prices depend on size of the installation area, contact Jenni for details or lets start talking, fill out a custom order form to get the conversation started...
What's the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon? Have a beer and pick up gifts for Valentine's Day from local artists of course! I'll have art hearts and small sculptures available for sale, hope to see you there!
