This past Sunday night I left after our church service and drove to Lima, OH to help Pastor Anthony Rudolph and Anchored Hope Baptist Church. You may recall in my last update that this is the first African American Baptist Church that I am blessed to serve. Pastor Rudolph has tried to get a church started for one year but hasn't had much success. I have high hopes for him and this church and I'm humbled to be able to assist him.
During this first trip I spent the time educating him on the process as well as showing him how to follow-up with those who accept Christ. When I return we will start knocking on doors and sharing the gospel with those in the area. Please pray that the Lord Jesus will honor our efforts over the next three to four months.
Pastor Jeff Benson (a pastor I've served and trained in evangelism) called and thanked me for all we've been able to do for his church. The church I'm blessed to pastor helped me with them as we held a revival meeting for them. He reported that they had 62 this past Sunday. He was so excited and thankful. He said they are continuing to grow.
