10:30am Morning Service: Terry Clark

Why ask for prayer?

Romans 15:30
'I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.'

In our daily struggles we, like Paul, can be encouraged by members of our church family praying with and for us. If you would like others to be praying for you, please ask any of the prayer ministry team (or indeed any of the church family). You can ask personally, by email (prayer @deanechurch.org) or drop a prayer request card in the box at the back of church. All prayer requests will remain confidential within the prayer ministry team.

Prayer is such a privilege; let us join together in our struggles and as we do, encourage and build each other up, bringing glory to God.

Our prayer diary for January is available at the back of church.  Please take a copy home and use it to help you pray through this month.

MoMENtum Breakfast

28th January 2017, 8:30am
Toby Carvery, £6

The speaker at the next MoMENtum breakfast will be Lee Banfield.  Lee used to work as a builder before studying theology in the 1980s.  He is now pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church.  Many of you may have seen him in this year's "Great British Bake Off" - he was one of twelve contestants selected from across the country.  He has since featured on Premier Radio.  Lee will be sharing his testimony with us.

To book a place for the next breakfast please contact Lee Higson on 07712 003290 or leehigson@hotmail.com by Wednesday 25th January.

Grub Tub

Thank you for continuing to donate items for Storehouse and WinterWatch through the Grub Tub at the back of church.  If you are out shopping and can pick up a couple of extra items, then do put them in the tub at the back.  They are much appreciated.

WinterWatch has restarted for this winter and will run through into March providing food, clothing, showers and advice to homeless people on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.  Each evening is staffed by volunteers.  Do be praying for WinterWatch over these next few months.
